  • Cameron entered the world of iRacing through the 24 Hours of Lemons, which created its own iRacing league in April 2020 to fill the space left behind from the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • She fell down the rabbit hole into the VTuber universe through YouTube and Twitter and climbed out as the motorsports-themed "Lady Jaye" Aubernon in October 2021.
  • Her journey as an automotive journalist has taken her to more than a few unique experiences, including driving a Class 8 electric truck (with no CDL needed) on Volvo Trucks North America's test track, shooting down the quarter-mile of the four-lane extravaganza that is zMAX Dragway in a Shelby GT500, and jumping from the sim-racing world to the real world through a few laps around Sonoma Raceway in an Acura NSX Type S.

Experience

Cameron started her writing career in the early 2010s as an independent fashion blogger. However, it was easier to write about cars — which she's known more than a few things about since she was a child — than it was to write about fashion, which she fell into through her friends and contacts in the fashion industry. Thus, Cameron's journey has taken her to various publications such as Hagerty, eBay Motors Blog, Girls Guide to Cars, Street Trucks, Racing Junk, RideApart, and more. She is a member of the Washington Automotive Press Association.

Education

Cameron started her undergraduate education at Wichita State University before transferring to The Evergreen State College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts.
